In just a few hours, D&D Celebration 2021 will launch The Dungeon Master Challenge. For the chance to be named the best Dungeon Master and to win a suite of Dungeons & Dragons products, you can enter the challenge which will take place over the next few months.

At 12 noon PST today (June 17th, 2021), a challenge will be issued and must be completed by 12 noon on June 20th. If an applicant in successful, then they will be one of ten contestants which will be set other design challenges over the months of July and August, competing against each other, as one contestant is eliminated each week until only three contestants remain.

The three remaining contestants will DM a pre-recorded or live stream on the Dungeons & Dragons twitch channel, and the winner will be the focus of an article in Dragon+.

Big Finish Productions, the company behind the Doctor Who audio series and other projects, are currently running their annual Paul Spragg Memorial Short Trips Opportunity.

This is a prose short story, which will be read as an audio book (unlike Big Finish’s full cast audio dramas). You are required to include a synopsis and a excerpt from your story.

You may use any classic Doctors and companions (excluding K-9), Big Finish exclusive companions, the Ninth Doctor, the Tenth Doctor, the Eleventh Doctor, the Twelfth Doctor, Rose, Martha or Donna. However, you may not utilise classic Doctor Who villains; like the Daleks or the Master.
